Tentative Agenda and Spectator Information

No admission or parking fee is charged for the Maui Jim Horse Trials. Thursday and Friday Dressage, and Sunday’s Show Jumping and special features take place at Lamplight Equestrian Center, 6N940 Dunham Road, Wayne, Illinois. Friday and Saturday Cross Country takes place at the Pratt Wayne Equestrian Area directly across Dunham Road from Lamplight. Generally, all competition days start at 8:00 am and finish at 5:00 pm. This is a weekend that is appropriate for children, but they must be kept under control at all times. Dogs are also welcome as long as they are kept on short leashes. Casual dress and comfortable shoes are a must as there is plenty of walking. On the cross country course, remember that horses have the right of way. Be sure to stay outside the ropes on the marked galloping lanes and listen to the instructions of the judges at each obstacle. Smoking is not allowed at either event site.
